Chef Kevin Sharkey and the culinary team of the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront will bring the party to your house for you and 15 guests. We will provide all the ingredients for a “New England style Lobster Bake” on Super Bowl Sunday! Virginia oysters, shrimp, lobsters, clams, crab cakes, bratwurst, jumbo wings, local micro brews and much more. We will even do the dishes!

Jump in the car with seven of your best friends and get ready for a day of food, fun, and adventure with Johnny Mo the musical chef. From the minute you get on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and take in the breathtaking views of the sea, your worries will disappear. Pull off the highway into historic Onancock and put on your bathing suit, because Chef Johnny Mo will be waiting to escort you by boat to a private beach for a day to remember. Cast a line into the water, play horseshoes, or stroll the beach looking for shells or even an American Indian arrowhead. As you enjoy the fully stocked bar and the sights, chef Johnny Mo will be firing up a traditional Eastern Shore boil full of clams, mussels, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and fish all in a delicious broth. He will be sure to bring some burgers, brats and an assortment of cold salads to munch on as well. When Johnny’s done cooking, of course he will crank up the guitar and put on a special concert featuring some of his original music and some all-time favorites too! After this fun day, Johnny will take you back to the dock and each person will be given an Eastern Shore memory bag with several local goodies from wine to peanuts and everything in-between.

Upon arrival, you will settle into a beautifully appointed suite and enjoy a “Welcome” Cheese & Crudité Platter and Champagne with your host, Sandra and Chef Ted. That evening, you and your guest will enjoy a memorable 5-course dinner paired with 5 different wines – the menu to be coordinated with you in advance by Chef Ted. You will begin the first of your two day stay with an elegant breakfast served in our Gazebo overlooking the gardens. A personalized picnic lunch will be prepared for you to enjoy during a day of recreation and sightseeing. That evening, you will ‘wine down’ before another discriminating 5-course dinner and wine. Following breakfast on the second day, you can leisurely (and hopefully, with some reluctance) prepare to depart – we will celebrate your stay with complimentary departing gifts, a special “Thank You” for supporting the March of Dimes through The Inn & Garden Cafe.

Themed Dinner for Twelve Guests in your Home
A special themed dinner for 12 guests in your home. Menu will consist of six courses: appetizer, salad, intermezzo, entrée, seasonal fruit and cheese, and luscious dessert prepared and served by our Culinary Arts students and instructors. Enjoy the flavors of a specific region such as France, Italy, Morocco, our bountiful Chesapeake Bay area, or a combination of flavors and styles!
Package includes themed favors for each guest to take home. In addition to a fabulous meal, a special centerpiece will be made exclusively for your event.
If you have your dinner during our Fall semester (September- December), you and your guests will enjoy a Handcrafted Gingerbread Display, all completely edible!
If you have your dinner during our Spring semester (February – May) you and your guests will enjoy an artisan 3-tier Specialty Cake highlighting the flavors and colors of the season
Penthouse Party on the Bay
Ten guests will be treated to a heavy hors d’oeuvres and cocktail reception in the Penthouse Suite of the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center. The party doesn’t stop there! Each couple will receive welcome amenities and complimentary overnight stays at he hotel. Chef John Maclure will prepare a menu featuring his awarding winning specialties.
